Is comment-to-DM allowed?

On Instagram and Facebook, yes: Meta lets apps send one private reply to each comment, within 7 days of it. On Bluesky, apps can send a DM, but most people only accept DMs from accounts they follow, so the public reply carries the link too. YouTube has no DMs, and Threads has DMs only in the app, not in its API, so there you answer publicly with the link.

Why three public replies?

Replying to dozens of comments with the same words looks automated, to people and to the platforms. Rotating a few versions reads more natural.

Does it work on TikTok?

Not through apps. TikTok's messaging API lets business accounts answer messages people send them, but not start a DM from a comment, and TikTok's docs say it isn't available to accounts registered in the EU, UK or Switzerland.

Is it free?

Yes, a few times an hour with no account. Each request is sent to an AI model, which is why there's a limit.
