Privacy policy

Plain-English version of how we handle your data and your customers' testimonials. The legal language is below.

Last updated: June 2026. This is a starter privacy policy. Replace it with one reviewed by counsel before serving real customers in the EU.

What we collect

  • Your account info — email address, name, profile image (from Clerk).
  • Your content — forms, widgets, walls, and testimonials you create or that your customers submit through your forms.
  • Aggregated usage — views and engagements on your public widgets/walls. We store totals, not per-visitor identifiers.
  • Billing info — handled by Stripe. We store the Stripe customer ID and subscription state; we never see your card details.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell data to anyone.
  • We don’t use your content to train AI models.
  • We don’t set advertising cookies or trackers.

We use one cookie: a session cookie from Clerk that keeps you logged in. That’s it.

Changes

We’ll post material changes here and email customers on file. Your continued use of Freqel after a posted change counts as acceptance.
