Can you automate TikTok DMs in the EU?
Officially not yet. TikTok's docs say its Business Messaging API isn't available for accounts registered in the EEA, Switzerland or the UK, and ManyChat says the same. Some EU users report that connecting works, so test before you rely on it.
TikTok's developer documentation lists the EEA, Switzerland and the UK as regions where business accounts can't use the messaging API. ManyChat's help center says EU and UK users can't connect TikTok yet, and offers a waitlist.
Two things to know:
- It depends on where the account is registered, not where you are today.
- Connecting isn't the same as messaging. Some people in Europe report that an account connects to a tool without errors. To be sure, send your account a keyword message from another account and see if the automation answers.
If it doesn't, the fallbacks are a public reply to comments and a link in your bio.
